The Handmade Music School presents a beginners ukulele workshop with Ash Devine on Saturday December 29, 2018 from 1:00-3:00pm. This workshop is for developing songwriters at any level. Cost is $65 with a new ukulele, $30 for workshop only.
This is a family-friendly, kid-friendly workshop priced with a ukulele. It is a perfect gift and activity for the Holiday vacation week! Those interested can purchase the Ukulele and wrap it up for a loved one, and receive a gift certificate for the Workshop, or receive a gift certificate for both the instrument and the workshop to be picked up on December 29th.
Award-winning songwriter, folk-Americana-country musician, and multi-instrumentalist Ash Devine is based the Blue Ridge Mountains of Asheville, North Carolina. Ash Devine’s folk fusion style gleans sounds of Appalachian traditional folk, Americana-pop, and classic rock. Ash Devine is an accomplished instrumentalist on finger-style guitar, Carter scratch, and country-blues style guitar, and innovative ukulele playing influenced by her studies in traditional, blues and world music. Devine believes that the Ukulele is an instrument that inherently increases joy. Ukulele is one of the easiest stringed instruments to learn, and a greater choice for people who are interested in songwriting, jamming, group sing-alongs, or guitar.
